Valentines Day is coming up Quick!

Preschool Classroom
Please make sure your preschool child has their Valentine Box to school by Wednesday February 12th!

The boxes will be on display all week and awards will be awarded on Friday.  If you would like to bring in individual valentines for the class feel free.  They will be distributed at the Valentine Party on Friday February 14th.

Toddler Classroom & Infant Classroom
If you would like to make valentines for your child's class you may.  Class lists may be obtained by your classroom teacher or mgmt.

Next Wednesday February 5th will be PJ Day for all kids and staff!

The center was OPEN today and will be OPEN tomorrow! 

If you choose to keep your child home, please let us know of their absent. 

Teacher of the Quarter

Congratulations to Ms. Erin our preschool teacher for being awarded the Teacher of the Quarter! When you see her, congratulate Ms. Erin!!

Center will be OPEN Tuesday

We will Open the center at 6:30 tomorrow am.  Please be safe and bundle up yourself and children. See you tomorrow!

Center will be Closed on Monday January 6th

After careful consideration, Raising Stars will be CLOSED on Monday January 6th after the governor ordered that K-12 public schools to be closed.  With the extreme low temperatures and possibilities of severe danger to the children, parents and staff we would all be safest indoors during this time.  We will resume normal hours of operation on Tuesday January 7th at 6:30 am.  Please contact Shawna if you have any further questions or comments regarding this decision.

December Notes

We're going to try this blogging again so stay tuned for lots of information and fun!  If you would like to see information about your child and pictures of them please let mgmt. know!

 

Events this week.....

• Santa will visit Raising Stars on Wednesday at 10:00.  We will try to get Santa pictures printed asap.  If you would like them emailed please let us know

 

• This Wednesday will be our preschool holiday program.  We would love to see all the preschoolers and their families in attendance.  Cookies and milk will be available after the show

 

• This Friday will be our classroom holiday parties.  If you would like to bring in a special treat for your child's class please bring it in by Friday as many children will be absent next week

Our center will be CLOSED the following days for the holidays:

December 24, 25, 26, 31

January 1

 

Reminders...

• All preschoolers and toddlers go outside if the temp is about 10 degrees or above
• All preschoolers and toddlers need to have all winter gear readily available for outside play.  A couple sets of mittens would be helpful on days when we get to play outside in both the morning and afternoon
• If bad weather occurs over night and the school districts close our center will be closed too.  We will post our closure on WCCO if you must close
